This week’s Arcade Gems is Darwin 4078 (1986).
In this vertical scrolling shoot’em up incorporating themes from Darwin’s Theory of Evolution, the player can collect and use EVOL capsules to upgrade and “evolve” their ship. Darwin 4078 takes place within a gigantic spaceship which can manipulate time and space.
